John catered for our wedding in November and we are so glad we chose Smoke Tin Kitchen. All the food was incredible, from the original menu tasting to the canapés and evening food. We still have people talking to us about the beef for our main and how good it was! His organisation and communication ensured the day all went perfectly. Would 100% recommend.

John did the catering for our wedding for 70 people in November, we had canapes, and slow cooked beef over coals with sides. We were so pleased with everything - from the planning phase, where we attended John's kitchen for a brilliant tasting session through to the organisation (John travelled over an hour for a site visit in the lead up to the event and his team of caterers were brilliant) and then the food on the day. So many people commented how delicious it was and the informality of the sharing plates worked so well for our rustic winter wedding vibe. We had a good few well acquired taste palettes amongst our guests so it was nice to hear such positive feedback from these people. I wouldn't hesitate to book John again, highly recommend especially if you appreciate high quality meet and seasonal produce.

John catered our small wedding last month and everything was really delicious and beautiful. He was really great at customizing a menu for us and were impressed by how he adapted dishes for our guests (vegetarian, lactose). Besides tasting really good, we wanted our wedding food to feel like the kind of food we'd eat with our family and friends. Of course you want your wedding meal to feel elevated (it's your special day!), but we also didn't want it to feel fussy, either. The food was inviting, special, and truly stunning. We had canapes and a three course meal and every single thing was delicious. I may be a bit biased, but it was definitely the best wedding meal I've ever had and our starter, a tomato watermelon feta salad, was definitely the best version of that salad I've had in my life. Very grateful we went with John for our wedding and for creating such a memorable meal.

I couldn’t recommend John more. He really made our wedding go from a great day to something truly special. Loads of friends said it was the best food they’d had at a wedding. John made us feel totally at ease and organised everything with no fuss. If you want food that really sets your event apart I couldn’t recommend Smoke Tin more.

From start to finish John has been a dream to work with. Our first meeting was amazing, he worked with us to understand what we were looking for, our personal tastes and made some great suggestions we wouldn't of thought of. He kept in touch regularly in the build up and answered all questions quickly. The food was perfect. The quality, taste and presentation made it a real focal point of the day with the lamb outstanding. We had so many comments from guests about how good the food was and different from what you often get at weddings. The late night pizzas where brilliant, lovely flavours and a great dough, John and Rory worked seriously hard to feed everyone but did it in great spirits. It was some of the best pizza we have had. From set up to pack down they were a dream to work with and clearly care very deeply about their work. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

John did all the food for our wedding in September and he did the most incredible job, we couldn't of asked for any more! We had the most beautiful beef for main and amazing homemade pizzas from his horse box for evening food. Absolutely massive portions, guests could not stop talking about the food all day, and haven't stopped talking about it since! We had a fantastic food tasting with John, he is so passionate about what he does, every option he gave us was delicious and we loved how he curated an individual menu for us. Nothing was too much for him, and he was amazingly efficient on the wedding day. We would reccomend him to anyone, we are massive foodies and it was really important to us to have the best of the best on our wedding day, and he definitely delivered just that! Thank you so much!

Over the weekend we had a tasting of our wedding breakfast menu that John has come up with for our big day next year. All that can be said is that the food was stunning! The passion and thought that John puts into his cooking really shines through with flavour combinations that we never would have thought of. Roll on next year when we can share this wonderful food with our guests!

John catered for my small wedding in August and it was INCREDIBLE to say the least! John created the perfect menu that was outstandingly delicious. They arrived super early to cook on the day and were so great interacting with family and friends there, they felt like guests and we were so grateful to have them there. John communicated so well before the wedding and on the day itself, it was so helpful. They also gave us the most delicious sauces which we are still enjoying! Thank you so much.
